We work with children, youth and adults with a variety of disabilities, both physical and cognitive, to help them do what they want and need to do each day. The ability to manage daily activities has a positive impact on an individual’s wellbeing and our role is to help children and adults find their strengths.
Access Therapy Services is a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) registered service provider. If you have not been approved for NDIS funding, we can help you navigate the system and provide documentation and therapist reports to support your application.
The occupational therapist will spend time completing a needs assessment and assist in identifying your personal goals, to enhance your ability to engage in your chosen activities or occupations. We may ask for the input of family and carers to fully understand how to best support you to reach your full potential.

- Self-calming strategies, anxiety management
Working with People with a Disability
We provide assistance in people’s homes and schools through equipment prescription, home modifications, goal setting and planning, accessibility, environmental assessments or through one-on-one support. We also support people to participate in their local community through socialisation, sports and leisure and by supporting people to reach their goals. We can also conduct functional assessments and provide recommendations and reports to support future NDIS plans.
We offer a FREE 15 minute appointment with an occupational therapist to discuss NDIS goals and needs or to just talk about what an occupational therapist can do for your individual situation.
If you would like more information or for someone to contact you please send us a message.

Working with Carers, Families, Support Workers and Health Professionals
For us to provide the best quality care and support to the people that we work with, it is vital that we work collaboratively and holistically with the person and their support crew. We encourage and facilitate an open line of communication with families, health professionals and other organisations to ensure that we are all working with each other to meet the person’s goals and dreams.
We use a variety of different products during therapy with our clients, many of which are available to purchase through our online shop, including tips on HOW and WHY we use them.
We offer a wide range of education, training and professional development options for health professionals, disability support workers, families and carers. I WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT MORE
