David is an occupational therapist working with all aspects of Access Therapy Services’ caseload. He has substantial experience working in community aged support and the disability sector. He is also working with many of our paediatric clients with a range of physical and intellectual abilities, both in our clinic and in the community including school visits.
David completed his Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at James Cook University after multiple placements working alongside Access Therapy Services. He decided on Occupational Therapy as a profession after joining his cousin on various health appointments and saw the benefits that his cousin’s occupational therapist brought to his life.
David has also worked closely with James Cook University to coordinate student placements, enabling them to gain much needed experience in the community aged support sector.
Recently completed “The Voices of Autism Massive Open Online Course (MOOC)” specialising in appropriate interventions and approaches used for paediatric clients.
